Driven by K. Bromberg

Loved, Loved, Loved this one.  I read it all in a day.  (OK, well technically I finished it in the wee hours of the morning, and am now suffering from a severe book hangover)  I even had a dream cast made up in my mind.  For Colton Donovan I have the oh so sexy Stuart Reardon.
Take a moment and just enjoy this.................
(or maybe several moments)
Now just imagine this man saying the things that Colton says in this book.  I think my ovaries may have exploded. (No for real!)

For the lovely Rylee I chose early Kerri Russell (I was a big Felicity fan back in the day, and love her)

Rylee is feisty, and full of witty comebacks for Colton's one-liners.  It is awesome!

This is the story of a damaged, beautiful, and sexy as hell race car driver that has an instant connection to the lovely Rylee after he rescues her from a storage closet.  She is nothing like the Bevy of Blonde Beauties that are usually draping his arm.  She actually turns him down, and walks away.  I think you can actually hear his ego screaming as she does.  The battle, and witty banter start from there.
I loved the way the characters were developed so you get a real sense of what their baggage is, and it seems legitimate.  There are no surface issues that the characters have over exaggerated into a complex.  I also like that the story is told from Rylee's point of view instead of switching back and forth.  I like wondering what is going on in the Male's mind, and only being able to get clues from what they say, or how they act.

Favorite quote:
“My inner slut,” I reiterate, nodding my head, “I like that, but I think she’s lost.” “Oh, we can find her, sister!” she snickers. “She’s probably hiding behind the layers of cobwebs covering your crotch.”

Just so you are forewarned, there is a cliffhanger.  It is part of a trilogy, so I should have expected it, but I didn't.  The next one comes out in August, and rest assured, my one-click palms are twitchy.

Thanks for your time and taking a chance on this new author!
