Bella Jewel has done it again, I devoured this book as fast as Hell's Knights. This is the story of broken Spike and Ciara. Spike was married to Ciara's sister, but she was killed in a bad deal with another MC. In the first book you get a taste of Spike and Ciara, but now we get the whole story. They were best friends once upon a time.
You get all the hotness that comes with a MC alpha male. The sass of a woman who has had enough of being pushed around, and the heart melty goodness of seeing him defend his woman. But, it is written in a new way where the men don't just grunt, and drag their woman off by her hair to his dirty biker room. You also don't get the random hooker type girls that they usually cheat with. I just loved it.
There is still some Cade and Addi in there to keep it interesting....and a whole lot of Jackson that we didn't get to know before.
The next book will be Jackson's story, and I can not wait. Oct. 25th can't come fast enough.
As long as the next book is as good as the previous two I will forgive Miss Jewel for torturing me with that cliff hanger....bad writer...*smacks her ass
