Sometimes you just have to take flight.
A summer in New Orleans is exactly what Allie needs before starting college. Accepting her dad’s invitation to work at his hotel offers an escape from her ex-boyfriend and the chance to spend the summer with her best friend. Meeting a guy is the last thing on her mind—until she sees Levi.
Unable to resist the infuriating yet alluring Levi, Allie finds herself at the center of a supernatural society and forced to decide between following the path she has always trusted or saving a city that might just save her.
This little gem is only 99 cents, and I read it all in one day. My house is a wreck, and my kids are still in PJ's, but I'm happy.
Oh Levi and Allie. Both are strong characters with lots of attitude and personality. Allie is not one of those shrinking violet female leads that just roll over. She is strong and stands up for herself. I loved it, and downloaded the second one immediately. Now I just have to wait for my iPad to charge back up.
I would put this book in more of the YA category than New Adult because there are no actual sex scenes, it is more fade to black.
